Yeah sweety! I totally agree :( The last time I said "That party was fucking awesome!" turned out to be when I went to Plush Nightclub for a DJ show, and I was hammered and the place was plaz-bumpin! When I attended the PNE last time it was more like Okay, I am here, it is too dark, is this supposed to be a party? And Plaza was like, EVERYONE FUCKING RULES! THIS PLACE IS OFF THE HOOK and the smoke pit was better =) *ah, the memories :) *

^^^then go to a club, where it's 19+

18+ just wouldn't make ANY sense bussiness wise. the added audience would not make up for the lack of serving booze.

Oh yeah, lack of serving booze? I've been to many a party that sells booze. Even though they let the kids in.

^so have I. they were probably illegal, and most were probably busted...

if you happen to be taking alot of drugs and need to 'go all night' hit up gorgomish after the club.

I don't mind having 16year olds and up around.. I'm not a hypocrite, by 16 I was partying pretty god damned hard... harder than I do now, seeing as I'm an adult with a bussiness and responsibilities etc etc. It just pisses me off seeing 12 year olds at raves, it's sickening.

Quit beign so god damned bitter and jaded. Think of how you were at 16, and how pissed you'd be if raves were 18+.

I don't do drugs, I don't need that 'go all night' thing. But I do often stay till about 5:30 or 6am. -Just for the record.

Clubs have a different vibe about them them parties. I love a good club night, but I also love a good party. The fact that drugs are (rather we like it or not) a big part of what people do when they go to a rave-I don't think we should allow people under the age of 18 in. Yes I was once a 16 year old going to raves and living it up. But I was also majorly into drugs at that age. It stole my soul. If we could keep that from happening to others that age, I'm all for it. I say, adults only at the all night dance parties. 18+.

you know what, i was pretty bad into drinking, and drugs for a while too.. I'm quit everything now, the only 'mind altering' substance I consume is caffeine.

The fact of the matter is... 16 year olds are going to do drugs, they're going to party. Whether it is at a rave, or wanderign the streets, or in a park. Atleast at a rave(legal ones...) there is security, paramedics, etc.

I totally agree on the different vibes also. I enjoy both clubs and all night parties... usually I find I KO at like 4ish nowadays though, so clubs are perfect.

thats how i see it too.
My interest in raving peeked when i was a teenager, so i cant hate on these kids for wanting to enjoy themselves too.

I think a dresscode would be enough to keep most the older folks happy. I'm sure alot of the teens who attend raves are totally cool kids. It would suck if some underaged druggy skanks ruined it for all of them.

I had to wait until i was 15 years old before my parents would let me go to a rave, and I wanted to rave since i was 13.
I sure didnt like this at the time, but looking back on it now; my parents made the right decision.

It would be an interesting concept to have the dresscode to suit and tie for the guys, and knee-length dress clothes for the girls. Reason? Business suits are in because if you think about it, many drug deals happen at raves, and so it would look more professional. And at least the girls would be dressed a little classy too. And then the guys take the classy-looking girls out for a nice dinner with their rolls of bills from the deals :)

^ As for dress codes, I think it would be great (and so much fun) if promoters started throwing more themed/costume type parties. :D
