Question about transferring film to computer?

I have a bunch of treeplanting pictures (film) from this summer I'd like to send to some people via email.
I have a peice of shit computer and no scanner.
How would I go about transferring this film to my email?

take pictures with a digital of the prints and put them on the comp??? without a scanner I really don't know. Do you not know anyone that can do it for you and then send them to you via e-mail?

Lots of desktop scanners can work with slides or negative film, as well as paper. maybe someone has a scanner, probably an Epson or HP, and can do the scanning for you.

places like london drugs photo dept can also do it for a fee.

actually they can make a cd-r disk of jpg images for you when the film is developed for about $10 extra.

Superstore was cheapest last time I did this about a year ago, as low as $5 plus the regular developing charges.

Not up here. I'm a little hesitant sending my only negatives on a journey through the mail.

There's no superstore or london drugs out here in the middle of nowhere.
Guess I'll check out Walmart this weekend.

Yeah, Superstore will be your best best, second Walmart.

On the most part if you just bring negatives they can make a CD out of that for about $5. Usually overnight, possibly within the hour.
