Is This Normal?
Allright so i am in class and this guy in front of me, just punches himself in the face. Clean straight blow, then like 10 minutes later he grabs his pen and stabs himself where the heart is suppose to be! Then like 20 minutes after the guy just takes an uppercut on himself. WEIRD BUT TRUE, and no its not one of those classes for street bums, it is suppose to be 2nd year ubc math ......
Maybe he was on shrooms but i dont even think shrooms do that stuff.. WTF can anyone tell me just wtf was he on. Cause this mofuka might just come with a howitzer and blow half of ubc away.... |

It could be the hyper or hypo sencory system (huge issue especialy with ppl who have autsim). Meaning some of their sonsory systems have been hightend or lowered. I once worked with a girl who loved the feel of preasure and pain. We had to hide all the sissors or else she would cut herself. Some students may also bit themselfs or cants stop chewing... even if it means chewing there thumb/hand raw! One boy I work with cant feel as well as we can. So sometimes will find him with a huge cut or burn and he never said or cryed anything about it!?! Otherwise my other guess would be torrets. Ppl with torrets often get some wierd fixations as well. Infact there are probly a tone of other rare things this person could of been born with that we will never know about. There are alot of ppl who can function in our society, but have some very odd behaviours (calling out, talking in mono tone, repetive action like tapping banging heads, weird twitching, grunting, mumbling, wierd ways of doing things in general etc etc). It may be hard to understand, but be open minded to it. Dont go picking on this person or trying to get more of a rise out of them. Be kind and maybe say hello. They may not respond at first or at all, but it doesnt hurt to be friendly and willing to reach out to them. Just do your best to understand this person has a diffrent way or thinking and either doesnt understand their behaviour is weird or doesnt even know their doing it in the first place. This person's behaviour may through you off, but never judge a book by its cover. Although they may act like a complete weirdo or child, they're human just like us and he probly undersand his school work just as well as you do or even better. Infact he could even be extreamly gifted in some area's. Albert Enstine is a fine example of someone who had alot of strange behaviours and didnt have all the normal social skills most have, but was a complete genouse (they belive he had high functioning autism) Last edited by Ree Fresh; Oct 06, 05 at 12:13 AM. |

O that really explains his behaviour then. Auditism i heard of it, geniouses that are unable to fit in society and are compulsively violent. Ya albert Einstein is a really good example. He never did fit in society at a social level, appart from his freakish hair. Thanks though for the information, because that kinda freaked me out.
Hopefully someday some dude in psychology will actually move get off the chair and unfold this profound mystery. No worries i wasnt picking or making fun of him Its just not a thing you see everyday. :| ^^^^^-------Thanks a lot wellbelove , guess i learned something new today. |
