hairdressers??

Can anyone recommend a good (and affordable hairdresser) for me?

I haven't been able to find a regular since I moved here, and have had some pretty terrible experiences, but maybe that's what you get for walkins. And then there was the time it came to over $200...for some shitty little place in a crappy mall! needless to say that was the last time I went there! At least I have learned to have a consultation first so I get an idea of the price

So, if anyone has any suggestions? Right now I live near Lougheed Mall, but I'm moving to the West End at the end of the month, so downtown would be fine too.

I dream of the day I walk in there, and come out with something I am happy with - and without breaking the bank!

MaryLee at Revolutions in Metrotown is really really good! so it is somewhat close to you if you live by lougheed!

Hmm.. I'm not sure if it's very affordable- but my bro's girlfriend works at Opus (Homer and Davie) and she's amazing. Her name's Melissa if you decide to check her out. :)
She just cut and highlighted my hair last weekend (it was a treat, so I didn't have to pay)- and I absolutely love it. I'm gonna continue to go to her once I move to Van also.

My buddy just opened up a really funky place on Granville called The Chop Shop.

Wander in , check it out, and talk to the cutters.

They've been busy since they opened.
