The Cooke has fallen and fractured his jaw!

The Vancouver Canucks announced Tuesday that Vancouver Canucks forward Matt Cooke suffered a fractured jaw in practice and will be out indefinitely.

Cooke was struck in the jaw by a puck at the Canucks practice at GM Place and will undergo surgery and be placed on the injured reserve list.

That's a real shame

The loss of Cooke really fuckin sucks cause he was really just starting to come on.

I'm glad Auld will get three 3 solid games to show his stuff.

too bad for him -- i had a hairline fracture to my jaw last summer.
fuckin hurt .. couldnt eat for 2 months...
diet consisted of pudding & mr noodles.

lost 30 lbs.

that didnt require surgery either!

meh....Cooke is hardcore....he'll be back in the lineup with his jaw wired shut and a face cage on in a couple games:)

Maybe if Auld gets enough games in a row/wins , Crawford will wake up a lil and start him more

^ if he plays like he has this season he should be allowed to start 20-30 games.

but you know Crow won't allow that as soon as cloutier is back he'll go right away to cloutier though I HOPE HE DOESN'T.
