Uhh.. he got signed by Ottawa way back and had all preseason plus training camp to get ready....... if you don't think it takes time to adjust to a team in front of you as a goalie, then you don't know or have ever played hockey

screw you Filo..I play goalie! The goalie is his own player. His job is to stop the puck or make a play. IF THE GOALIE IS SMART, and can read the plays, he may well adapt to ANY team he plays on. The cummication factor is always in effect. Look at Auld...he played in the minors, comes up to the Canucks, and proves himself...did he need to adjust? In some ways yes, but he just had to do his job right. Hasek is his own player...the team had to adapt to his style of play and they had to adjust to him...he lucks to push the puck up ice as often as he can and continue the momentum. In the long run, all of the team players and their goalie come to understand each other and their plays. Training camp, no training camp...pre-season, no pre-season...a goalie just has to stop the fucking puck, that is his job because we assume he has already adjusted to the NHL as a whole.

luongo's big game experience hardly counts. world championships every year? big whoop. the best players are still competing in the playoffs. and let's face facts, canada's squads are so damn deep that most any mediocre goalie should be able to get the job done. it's no biggie for canada if iginla/sakic/thornton aren't available. but when the czechs don't have jagr, or guys like hossa/alfredsson/sundin aren't suiting up, then you can't put much stock in the competition.

everybody always shits on dan's playoff experience. that's all we care about, playoffs this playoffs that. i still don't understand why everyone's dick's so hard about a goalie who could easily flop in the playoffs. it's a different game come post season. and when was the last time luongo played an NHL game that mattered? OH THAT'S RIGHT, NOT ONCE IN HIS CAREER.

i'd take a trade if we fleeced florida, but his stock is overinflated in the league so he will fetch a premium price.

^ it goes both way trust me alot of people DON'T SUPPORT CLOUTIER either.

At this point in time a goalie isn't gonna help the canucks as much as you think. It would of coarse help the team out but as a whole I think the team needs more than that right now.

Mentally their struggling

Are you sick of all the Postivie support, or the negative support? *here, I assume positive*
