Actually the term 'Black Friday' means something entirely different. It has to do with retailers profits. The basic meaning is that up until this day most retailers have lost more money than they have made and are financially in the 'red'.

Black Friday is the day when most retailers start their Xmas frenzy and therefore the books move forward into the 'black'. That would expalin why Nat has heard 'green' friday as well because both are used to mean a positive profit.

Many retailers don't know what the f they're doing and therefore don't post huge profits except through bts and xmas. Thank goodness I don't work for those idiot retailers :P
