How much do u believe in astrology and horoscopes?
I was reading about the compatability between me and the sign of gf, and all that i got from every single website was basically things such as "you are as different as night and day", "don't go there", and "not a recommended partnership" etc. Ughhh kinda makes me nervous..but I dunno.
Anyways, how much do u guys beleive in astrology and all that ?? |

^sagitarius is the only cool sighn...
Personally i enjoy reading horoscopes etc to see if there are similarities or just good advise. Sometimes somthing like that can give you the needed ambition to get som, thing done and i can respect that, it just doesnt affect me that greatly. |

it can work....i've seen it work
it also depnds on your personal birthcart, if you want me to look and see where your venus's are at i can. Also, noticed with twins who clearly have the same sign tend to be very different almost through instinct, plus sag and scorpio go into each other so some of the qualties are already a given. pm me if your still nervous my guess is she's crazy about you and you shouldn't be but i can try answer some questions if you like. |

I don't believe anything in newspapers.
I only pay attention to planets and their positions. http://www.etext.org/Religious.Texts...ian/astrology/ |

So, to you pro-horoscope people:
Do you actually believe in horoscopes or do you just find them an amusing source of chit-chat material? If it's the second of the two, sure, I can understand that. Small talk material is good to have. If you actually believe that the random alignment of balls of nuclear fire lining up with our particular point in the galaxy in certain orders at certain times has anything to do with the subtleties of human behaviour, I don't really know what to say. Apparently despite our modern scientific advancements we still haven't managed to evict ancient superstitious mentalities. Superstition kills thinking minds. |

First off - I am a scorpio and I have at LEAST 5 BEST friends as sagitarrius, so I definitely don't believe there is a problem there at all...
Secondly, when I was in psychology in school we had to do an experiment to prove that horoscopes were bunk, so we all made up our own horoscopes and then mixed them in with real ones and then handed them out to people. We were to then rate, on a scale of 1-10, how close they were to the truth. The idea was that the only reason these horoscopes work is because they are general statements that you could easily fit into your life and it would work for anyone. Plus, we have the tendency to remember the ones that are right ("OMG that is so me") and forget those that are off to try and work it all in. That said, I still love to read horoscopes and chat about them, but to believe in them truely I think is rather crazy. Yes, there is similiaritys but there is also differences and those will be ignored. How can a person's personality and life be governed by a bunch of stars? |

I read my horoscope sometimes in the 24Hour newspaper, try to relate it to whats goin on in my life. But i dont depend on it. I dont believe in it. You can read three different astrology sources daily and they will tell you sometimes the complete opposite of each other.
^^^^Im a scorpio too. |
