The Courier: Rave New World

anyone read that article? front page... about 3 pages or so about raves. Pretty good read, talks about how raves are more about spirituality than drugs... etc etc.

First pretty positive article I've ever read about parties....

With horrifyingly generic teen-pop acts blaring out from mtv day in and day out, it's a wonder more kids haven't turned to drugs to escape the awful racket. Sure, a fair amount of electronica is wordless wallpaper, but slip on Moby's soulful, cerebral Play, and you won't need any substances to get high. The music will take you there all by itself.
YES !!

YA!!!!!

nice, my boyfriend MattyG works for citylife magazine, its a few months old to vancity, jsut getting going.
its mainstream but they are letting him deal with the music side of things, change it up.
John B interview will be in the next issue we will let you know. Soon to follow, Skool of Thought interview, Im gonna work on some articles with my boy, we are gonna show van city that 'raves' have changed.

its about the music and the community. our friends!
i see more bad shit happen at top 40 clubs then raves, anyone agree?
