just keep the antivirus updated, and firewall up. it should be good as new for a while.

I got a crappy computer, bought it more than 6 years ago, but i keep it so clean and up to date it runs so smooth, like the day i bought it. Even when people buy comps from futureshop they think it will never die, but virus's are so sneaky nowadays.
