Nicholas Cage inspired me in the movie Lord of War. I am going to begin my career as a trafficker of guns and ammunitions.

My opinion on Firearms?

In responsible hands I'm all for them... I love shooting. What can I say?

In the hands of Gangsters, not so for it. Just the other day a 7 year old Girl was caught in the crossfire on a Toronto Transit Bus and got shot in the face by accident, she may lose her vision forever.

Yea these punks in the streets just out of their burbs are just waiting to start a fight just to pull it out. I'd like 'em to get drafted or somethin. Then they'd be real heated gangstaz (son). sometimes I'd want to have one, just to prove I'd never use it irresponsibly.

hmmm
i'm studying criminology... so maybe i shouldn't get started posting in here!!
i agree with MapleLeaf4Ever - in the right hands, i guess it's ok

but people like Charlton Heston just BUG the CRAP outta me - hows about we all own guns just cos we can just cos the law says we can - because i'm so sure that everyone who owns one for those reasons are very responsible upstanding citizens! i'm sure everyone here has seen bowling for columbine

i dunno, seems like since i moved to Vancouver there's shootings all the time outside clubs and stuff - which is another thread altogether, i know - but still shows there are problems with the people who are getting their hands on weapons like this...

ok, /vent
:D

keep in mind, guns have their practical uses as well. The town I come from is full of hunters and for as long as I can remember, my dad brought home moose or elk meat because we needed to find a cheaper, affordable way to feed ourselves. We just didn't have the kind of money to buy all of our groceries, and tagging one animal gave us meat for up to a year. It's only in the cities that violence has escalated to frequent gun use. So like mapleleaf4ever said, in responsible hands they can be a productive tool, not a dangerous weapon. Some people depend on them.

keep in mind that like 90% of the shottings outside of clubs is usually indo-canadian gang related
i'm not trying to be racist i read it in the paper a couple weeks ago

handguns and anything but hunting rifles are unessecary.
i'd hate to get shot in cross fire leaving a club or have someone i know get shot
the ppl that do that kinda stuff have messed up heads
you can't put a price on life, but money and 'respect' seems to be what all these fools shoot over
if they wanted to be respected they shoulda done somethin with their lives

i seriously dont like guns, i never have. But I should say that nowadays a lot of criminals carry guns, and are not afraid to use them, so im happy to see Transit cops carrying them.

one of my friends got killed by a misunderstanding somwhere in surrey. he got shot nine times to the head. and of course died. So if there are cops carrying guns protecting us against criminals with guns, i support it. But i dont think civilians carrying guns is good.
