I'm like Oprah, I have a constant battle with weight. I was at my lowest weight 2-3 years ago. Then, I graduated high school and went to SFU. Since I started university, I've probably gained 15-20 lbs. The summer of '05 living downtown, working late and eating shit didn't help either.
I've been trying to lose weight and get even healthier and better than 203 years ago, but it's tough and for some reason I'm pretty discouraged. Lately, I've been going to the gym, but after going for weeks, I lose my motivation and then stop for a week or two. I want to get into this fitness boot camp thing. It's 5 days a week for an hour a day. They work you HARD. The problem: it's pretty expensive (the one I'm looking at is about $300. I hear good things about it though. I have a Fitness World membership, though. So it seems like a waste if I don't use that. I think I'll just find a way to get myself motivated again and keep going to the gym. AND eat healthier. Blah. |

I guess that's what eating will do to you. |

hmmm, i'm the poster girl for lazy and unmotivated. i would always join the gym and say i only have to go 3 times a week. but on monday i would say "oh its only monday, i'll go tuesday.....then on tuesday i would do the same and then wednesday and then it would turn out that i only went once or twice a week.
a friend told me to start off SUPER strong. go everyday. i can actually say that its worked really well for me. and for those of you that are going to say "oh i don't have that willpower....." i'm seriously the laziest pot head EVER! all i do is eat(reason behind my 30 pound weight gain)! but a few weeks ago i started going mon-fri.......everyday, no excuses. no, "oh i'll do it tomorrow". just DO IT! not only do i feel f'in amazing.......its also such a postive thing in my life. i have no problem with people taking something to get them started. sometimes you need to see results before you can really start taking action. but excerise is still the #1 weight loss technique. |
