When I go for all you can eat its cause I wanna get stuffed. I don't go really with high expectations though there are some respectable ones. Shabusen isn't bad actually. If you want good sushi go to Musashi on denmen. Or you could always try one of the Ichibankan's. Its alot better than Samurai sushi with their massive fish and rice |

Su Shi Ya is the MCDONALD's of Sushi. No self respecting person shopuld ever eat their.
On a side note, the Su Shi Ya in Richmond isn't quite as shitty, simply because their are so many other all you can eat sushi places in richmond, they have to up their usually sub par standards in order to compete. |

Sushiya is crap. Samurai is crap. Shabusen is decent all-you-can-eat but it's hardly "good" sushi. Kamei used to be good like 20 years ago but is overpriced and mediocre nowadays.
Most of those places aren't even japanese-run and operated let alone run by people who have the slightest bit of training in the art of sushi. My personal favorite is Wabi Sabi which is out on 10th near ubc. Yuji's out on 4th is pretty good too. There's a place on denman next to Kintaro (incidentally the best damn ramen you can get in the city) which I've heard good things about but I've never been. If you're from coquitlam or burnaby, Takumi on north road is probably one of the better places in the city too. Guu is good, but it's less sushi and more izakaya than sushi. |

They have alot of good japanese food. Especially if your for the hot foods like agedashi tofu or shoyu and miso ramen. Stuff like that. Plus gyoza king is open late too |

Its scary how easily people can open a sushi shop now. Most people can't seem to tell the difference... Takumi is good but costly. Ichibankan again too. p.s: my rents own a sushi place in port moody as well heh. Osamu is not bad either. |
