best ideas for housewarming gifts?

get nice bed sheets.... like nice silk ones!! those are pimp and feeel soo nice to sleep in...

here are sum others I can think of...

-lava lamps
-tool box
-bathroom accesories such as ...towels, candles, scents, bath bombs etc etc
-chocolates
-nice plants
-haha if ur rich and super nice get a bowflex for them...
-doormats were a good idea... but if i were to give one... i would get it personalized

Hmm.. well I would say think about what this person may need that they don't already have.
For instance, maybe they love coffee but don't have a coffee maker- you could get them one and a nice bag of coffee. :)
Blenders - always an awesome idea, especially if they like smoothies or daquiris (you could even toss in some fresh or frozen fruit to go with it).
Plants - everyone can also use a plant or 2 to spruce up their place (I should know, I need one. lol)
Lamp - something that people almost always need yet tend to forget about getting for themselves.
Tools - especially a screwdriver and a hammer (they come in very handy).

I think you should get a wood plack made with some saying thats like an inside joke between you and the other person so it can be the first thing they hang up that way they'll always remember you , and a gift certificate is always a good idea that way your safe!

^oooh yeah, as for plants if your friend likes cooking get them a lil indoor mini herb garden!
It's awesome to have fresh rosemary, basil etc. at your fingertips! Plus most herbs are easy to take care of.

hows about a lil fish in a bowl. They are like $5 at Pet Cetera for the fighting fish and like $10 for the bowl with colorful rocks already in it and they hardly require any maintenance. You can place it on the counter in the kitchen on in the bathroom on the counter or top of the toilet or by the computer or even in the living room. They make for great company :)

it kinda depends on their place... and how much shit they already have.

if they are busy with moving in and still having to work, I would show up with groceries and a pre made dinner! maybe take out... hmm. and some booze with a camera.
Have a wicked dinner and drinks, and take pics of you chillin with your friends in their new place. And give them a frame that matches their house.
Can't get much more personal then that.

the sheets r a good idea. I was going to say a duvet. my friend got one 4 a housewarming gift. and I was like holy shit thats a sweet gift. I guess it depends on how much u like them to say how much u wanna spend... and a blenders a good idea too.
