the weekend to end breast cancer
alright. so myself and my two close lady friends have formed a team for this event - the knocker walkers. although breast cancer has not directly affected me, cancer has. my grandparents, my auntie, my parents and many other relatives have gone through and are going through cancer and all that it entails. at one point both of my parents were in treatment for cancer on opposite sides of the city - nothing any child of any age should have to go through. although we are walking for all the women out there who have had breast cancer, who have it, and who will get it, we are walking for the ending of all cancer.
no one should have to deal with it.
we are fundraising through many events - from poker nights to garage sales, and coming up on april 28th we will be hosting a club night at the mirage. tickets are $10, you get VIP line access, and a free drink. every last penny going to breast cancer research. if you are interested in tickets, pm me. we deliver!
lastly, any information you might be interested in about cancer - from prevention to treatment to whats new in the research department - pm me. my dad is working for the canadian cancer society and information is easily attainable, and slowly i am increasing my knowledge about this disease and prevention.
