I got my best friend as my personal stylist. She tells me what comes into the store, phones me, picks up the stuff that I want, and I head down there and throw her my credit card.

Most of the time I'm suiting it, or wearing my hospital coat over everything

I'm a huge Guess fan, I do a lot of shopping there.

I'm also a big triple 5 soul fan so I frequent Below the Belt, Off the Wall and Plenty quite a bit.

I generally find I tend to spend the most at Sample Sales, I get invites to quite a few and when I go I usually splurge.

For shoes I like Nine West and occasionally i'll find something at Joneve that'll catch my eye.

Also love vintage shopping, I like 'sisters closet' on Commercial Drive as well as Virgin Mary's, those stores carry a lot of neat items.

Gastown clothes shopping is fun too, there's lots of variety and lots of items distributed by more local designers so if i'm on the lookout for something unique i'll head there.

And then of course there's always Winners and Value Village so if I feel like taking the time to browse i'll go to one of these stores.

acidic_liquid is an unknown quantity at this point
It all depends on one thing for me:money.

Before, when I had less debt and lotsa cash, I loved Below the Belt (Triple 5 Soul, Diesel, Energie, Gas), Guess, Banana Republic, A|X, Zara.

Now... it's been pretty much all AE for me. Go employee discount!!!

I miss shopping :(

As your know i'm doing market reasearch, and I'm very suprised at the amount of "Gap" and "Old Navy" peeps to be honest. Especially from a clubbing/raving board. Nothing against either of them, but I totally thought for some reason this crowd would be much more into the little boutique shops rather than those big generic shops. Uk brands more than US brands. Not sure why?

Again nothing against the big US stores. But here's a question, how come? Is it price? Selection? Quality? Do you live in the burbs which gives you limited selection?

Thank you to everyone who's posted so far, your feedback is greatly appreciated!
