that's a hot spot behind the ear. I was going to get my star there but the guy warned me about the pain factor and I changed the location of it. But it def looks hella hot :)

no its not painful at all.

it was .. very very sensual... it hit my hot spot with pain after the rush of endorphins and an while in the chair (he fixxed my a other tattoos up) it was like heaven. all you can think about is whats happining the hum of the needle RIGHT in your ear is meditative, it makes your whole head shiver. its very "zen"

get it done.. its the most amazing experence ive ever had with tattoos. the others were fun.... weee endorphin rush.. but this....was very "in the moment" I"m getting a Snail behind my other ear as soon as I Can.

AND a shout out to Millenium Tattoos *(north van)* , AMAZING art... Sweet dued running the counter. and really nice reasonable prices. I recomend HIM to everyone.

i almost got an om tattoo while in india, as a kind of reminder of the state of personal enlightenment i'd felt i'd achieved after 6 months in asia... but then i realized a tattoo couldn't, and shouldn't, be the tether to a mentality.

still, it's a beautiful sign. i hope you appreciate the power behind it.

anyways,not a very original tattoo.it seems like everyone and thier dog has that tattoo.i cant wait till the bun gets out the oven so i can go get my body inked up.

The tattoo its self is a paradox- and hypocritical being attached so a material possession (the tattoo) contradicts the meaning of the symbol its self.

But I reach a “spiritual” high from getting Inked. So I felt it fitting.

Awesome for you! I wish I could have traveled to India- I did the British Isle. Never made it to India tho I plan to adopt a girl from India in the next 6 or 7 years… so it calls for many trips there.

I got the worst tatoo ever there and considering their shop is in NV and most of my friends went their when we were 16, and they all had similar experiences, I'm still going on my views that they blow.

"TX - ink" -- Run by Tigger? sort of chubby biker guy with long gray hair, very unhealthy looking... has a very big limp... his shop smells like old booze and pot smoke???

Cuz that was around for a long time... I use to get inked from there.. and he was horrid..crap.. He put out nothing but bad shit..98% of the time.

TX was up "lonsdale" he moved to Hastings. I think hes closed down now.

Millenium is up on 2nd. run by a younger guy with a tattoo on the top of his head. very clean bright shop he's been there about 5 years.
