Transferring to FSJ for a month. . getting promoted?

Fuck I hate that hole. . . but they're willing to pay for my hotel room, travel expenses, and $60/day for food. Plus there are talks of training me up for assistant manager and then I am qualified to take up a position anywhere I want when an opening comes up. Ass. Manager (hehehe) gets paid $12/h too.

Seems like a sweet gig, assuming I can hack a month in smutville.

I did that. I was making $17/h tying re-bar and then some random dude showed up 20 minutes before my third shift started and asked for a job so they gave him mine because he was early.

$12/h for partially managing a video store is great, I think. No real work, and I can chill out and watch movies all day.

no, you misread. He showed up at 7:40am, my shift started at 8am, and I was given the boot at 7:50am.

and Wild Turkey IS the alcohol of champs. It's put me under the table many a night. .

Ya dude seriously. If u want come work at the company i work at doing highrise work you'll START at 14/hr and thats not even a foreman or anything.

and yes you'll get a nice tan and YOU CAN LIVE IN VANCOUVER.

P.S: I don't think 12/hr is worth moving to a shithole like Fort St Johns.

I'm not moving, I'm hitting up a lush hotel room for the month and training for management there because the store is understaffed.

But I'm seriously considering your offer. . I just want to buy my decks and get some cash saved before I move anywhere. I've probably got a buddy that would be interested too, if you could use a couple of guys down the road.

Explain to me how he'll be doing better making 2$/hour more while he has to pay 800$+ for accomodations, nevermind food if he goes to vancouver.

10:1 says they're short staffed and he works more then 40hours/week.
In other words in a month he's clearing $2000+
