Yeah I just heard that, I am not surprised. They are looking for someone to blame for the canucks not making the playoffs when they should be (at least when they are on paper). However I don't think it was all his fault, the team just didn't gel this year and there definitely needs to be some changes made next year if we are to make the next years playoffs

He was alright I guess, cant says as Ill miss him. It was the entire teams fault for not making it to the playoffs this yr. I think he could have done more though, to light a fire under his slumping teams ass. From my point of view he just seemed to rely way to much on a couple of players to carry the team, and when they weren't producing there wasnt enough there to pick up the slack.

ya well players are going to be traded as well... You wait and see. Given the severity of talent there is absolutely no excuses why the canucks couldn't even make the playoffs. My guess is that they are going to ditch cloutier and definantly bertuzzi next. The most iritated players on that team IMO.

Ya, Pat Quinn is so great. The Leafs are a bad example because their all shitty players.
What about Team Canada 2006? You can't really blame that on the players... He put players together that should have not been together. I still think Heatley, Spezza, and Staal would have made a better first line... Pat Quinn needs to never return to hockey, he should hang his head in shame and not come back. Don Cherry needs to be fired from CBC too. He was a wise man of hockey, but he's lost his mind now... They should take him off the air before he embarasses himself more, and others. |

He made no changes worse than the Canucks organisation. He kept Lindros, and Allison and old players who were for sure hit and miss this year along with Belfour sucking the big one. but ya i am pretty sure Pat Quinn is gonna be retiring anyways. He definetly didn't need to hang his head in shame when he was coaching and GM'ing in vancouver. The coach is always the first to go, but if things don't improve next year I am certain Nonis will be gone too. I honestly believing losing burke killed the canucks and anyone who thinks otherwise well look at anaheim and what he has done and look at van and where we ended up at the end of the season. |
