Totally grew with a company. Got the job when i was 18, started out data entry, progressed to shipping/receiving, then shipping/receiving, customer service and general secretary.
As time progressed, I was the head of import/export logistics, customer service head and resident problem solver regarding any network issues. Now after 7 years,t o go from that, back to good ol data entry again is pretty shitty, but I do still get the same wage which is allright. Boss is away in Europe for another month, so I've got to put up with it for a bit, then let him know what's up. |

If you can't enjoy the job you're doing, why hang around? There are more (well paying) employment opportunities now then there's been in a coons age.
Since you alread have shipping and recieving experience, plus the fact you've headed a department, why not go back to that. In places around here you could make around 18-22/hour, more if you can prove you'll work for it. It's not amazing money but it's nothing to turn your nose up at either. Good luck. |

I firmly believe in having a job that you enjoy and feel pasionate for. Except for the first 5-10 years of your life working I can understand having to start from the bottom and getting through school. Just remember we spend nearly 1/3 of our life at our job. I think its worth the sacrifice if the wage isnt that much of a diffrence and its still enough for you to live off of.
