Im sick and tired of all you jealous people trying to discredit this incredable national team we have. We have the best goalie in the world, the best defender in the world, and had 11 individual players score goals for us. The Refs are by far not in favor of the italians, all you gotta do is look at history, mainly 2002 against Korea. We got screwed plain and simple, Fifa paid the refs to get Korea through to the semi's. Bullshit calls, disallowed goals that should have been goals is what got italia and Spain out of the 2006 world cup, nothing more. The goal against Australia was a controversial call, at most. You have to remember the italians played a man down for the whole 2nd half of that game, and did a great job not allowing any breaks, and when the ref saw Grosso go down in the box, he called it. Who knows if he dived, the Austrlian player did slide at him, missed him but grosso fell. I saw no contact with the ball, so in my mind thats a penalty, and Totti did a great job finishing. There was no favoritism in that game, otherwise the italians wouldnt have played a man down half the game. They killed Ukraine, and they finished off Germany in a hard fought game that Italy controlled play most of the game. And then theres France. Well people say, oh france played better. Well iunno if i saw what i saw, but i think i saw France score there only goal on a bullshit call in the box that video replay shows the italian defender made absoultley no contact. The only way France knows how to win is by penalty's, the did it to Portugal 2 years in a row, and the almost did it to italy. But italy did something France didnt know how to do, and thats score a goal.......Italia deserved the win, and anyone who can't handle that is just jealous, we can actually say we are 4 time champions. vaffunculo Zidane

Ohh last but not least, you talk about that australia call, controversial........... Materazzi´s red card was more controversial than the penalty. BUMP |

Correct me if i'm wrong but didn't fifa admit of a plot to try and get the homeside Korea into the semi's. Thats why you had 2 goals scored by italy that were disallowed because of offside, but were clearly onside, and video replay proofed it, and then the same happened to Spain. What happened in this world cup wasn't conspiracy on either end. I'm just saying the call that went in favor of Grosso and Italy came at a good time for italy to capitalize and win, but you forget that calls have been on the bad side for the italians for a fair amount of tournament but were able to still win, like the call on Matterazzi in the france game which gave them there first and only goal, and he didnt even touch him. Or even the call on Matterazzi against Australia where he got the red card, that slide justified a yellow card, not an automatic red. you only get automatic reds if you headbutt people.
