argh.. I can't wait till I can afford to get myself a new digi cam. I've been seriously jonesing to take photos of the outdoors and whatnot since mine got stolen. Shouldn't be too much longer though.. :)

my first experiment with macro, i'm just getting familiar with this camera and how to play with various settings to get the effects i want. i really liked this shot because of the way the shadow of the flower head really gives dramatic effect to the depth perception.

I've always loved old buildings for the detail in architecture and design. One of the great things about provinces out east are the older historic buildings. I find that even though Vancouver has some historic buildings it's very much still a "new" city. The great thing about Toronto is that there are many old buildings perfectly integrated and surrounded by old buildings. This is from my little excursion to the main St. Georges campus of U of T right in the heart of downtown Toronto.
