physiotherapy questions.

i just called and made an appointment for my first ever physiotherapy session.

im kind of nervous as this is my first ever broken bone, my first ever surgery and my first time going to physiotherapy.

i've nothing but bad things about it which doesn't help me out.

my question is how bad is it really? im sure im going to experience a lot of ache's, pains and a lot of the tingles and my foot is still very swollen.

any advice?

make sure they give you some exercises. Ive heard of places that just slap the machines on your and ignore you, wham bam. go elsewhere if thats what they are doing.

ice is your friend.

Rayeine will become famous soon enough
I find alternating Ice and heat works the best for me.
nice things injuries..
I know where your coming from, over the last couple of months i've gone from doctor to specialist..to xrays..physio..chiropractor ..and then in a few weeks im back to physio again through Vancouver General.
Hey! wanna drive around and swerve the peacelike oh look at me and my super healthy back longboarders off the road and watch them dive?
bah.
i miss it more than anything..
Yeah, but in regards to your physio id just make sure they dont hook you up to those twitchy electroid machines and leave you alone for 20 minutes..
Excercises are good..just dont overdo it..
especially when your foot feels a little more up to scuff..
you've gotta take it in stride.
Anyways, keep on surviving!..
Hope your foot heals up quick:)
