Seniority

Tonight there was some mad Thunderstorm action here in Toronto so a lot of Flights took a two hour delay.

Anyways, I get back to the Crew Room after doing our two Flights and the Duty Manager starts asking People to stay late to work the remaining Flights.

Since everyone was Part-Time and low Seniority they had to stay and fight on who had to stay.

Big Ups to being the highest in seniority and heading home without having to work in the Rain.

MUAHAHHAHAHAH SUCKERS! Unions rule.

I was part of HEU (hospital employee's union, the second largest union next to Long Shoreman) for far too long. union's only promote laziness, at least in my experience with it. (just my opinion, not lookin for a fight or nothing)

if your happy with it, all the power to ya cause it def has it's benefits as well

Yup, thats my belief too. Unions foster mediocre work ethic. It shouldn't be about how long you worked there; it should be about how hard/well you work.

The Benefits are the main reason I'm there.

I myself when I have a task assigned, will get it and my Crew if I'm Leading to complete it as quickly as possible. However I there are a lot of People that back up behind the Pooch and go for broke. Unions don't promote mediocre work, only hiring mediocre Employees fosters a mediocre output.
