SFUers...Orientation....for a transfer student
So SFU's got its orientation business, and it will be my first semester there....I see there's different types of orientation. If I was a first year kiddie, i'd have a two day extravaganza of fun and meeting new people. That sounds cool.
However, since i'm transfering, there's a one day orientation for 'mature students and transfer students'. This doesn't sound as fun as a bunch of freshman. Do I lie and sign up for 2 day freshman orientation, go hang out with 40 year olds heading back to school, or just skip it all and meet people at the pub? Discuss. |

Don't worry about it if you've only got 1 day orientation......it'll be good enough for meeting some people and learning your way around the school and how everything works
I did the freshman orientation and it was a little dragged on......they show you like EVERY place in the school...and it's a lot of walking....but i guess it's good for you......i only went to the second day because that's where we got some free shit or something, i forget....i left early.....but the second day is really just too much. so i would suggest doing 1 orientation day just to learn what's up.....AND hit the pub. |
