Bertuzzi was a tank the first game. Rolling people over and shit. Anyways, the West Coast Express line was shut down, which isn't a good thing. But the Linden and Churbarov line stepped up there game. A few bad calls and lucky bounces that went both ways. Either way a great game for the Canucks. Go canucks go!
Fedorov you can suck on my chubarov! |

ok.... i think hlavic #17 was one of the better players out there for the canucks last night... everytime he was on the ice it looked like he was putting in %110, chasing pucks, really hustling ... compared to a lot of other canucks i saw kinda just floating around, taking their time to get to the bench after a shift, not really pushing themselves hard enough... hlavic looked like he was fighting to the death.. i like to see players give it their all, and u hardly ever see big-shot $3298573247983477000000000000000 a year players play their heart out like that. that's kinda why i've always liked the canucks (apart from them being a home team), their roster almost never has a SUPERSTAR on it. and is it just me or does brett hull look like a vampire heroin addict? |

did you guys notice the difference in pay between the two teams too? these are not exact to the dollar but they are close...
Canucks: $27 mil. Wings: $64 mil. and look who came out on top already for the first game.. and you notice something aswell.. which sets this out as a good example... is DJs too.... us local DJs make pennies in comparison to the big Headliners, but they are some locals out there how can rock a show much harder and with more enjoyment and excitement then some of those headliners, don't you think? well anyway.. that's my speech for the year! WOOOOOOOOP CINTO GO NUCKERS GO |

some sportsnet guys were talking about how in most sports you can buy a championship. how the new york yankees do it over and over. how it can be done in football, soccer, basketball... but it's impossible to do in hockey. if detroit gets stomped in the 1st round, it'll be a perfect example.
