How very sympathetic of you. You don't think George Bush maybe has it coming more? I mean, Irwin never hurt a fly and Dubya has murdered hundreds of thousands of people. Perhaps we just have different definitions of deserved death.

I wasn't saying he deserved death, but so the saying goes "If you play with fire, you're going to get burned" or something to that effect.

The reason he did that was to bring people in and make them care enough about animals to want to save them, even scary ones. Yes, it was dangerous, but he was trying to save something. Saying he had it coming is like saying firemen have it coming, as they literally play with fire.

This is what she said .. its unfortunate.. its not like she was like " ohh that steve irwin.. I am glad hes dead." No need to bring in george bush.. nor debate peoples responses when not needed. |

Steve Irwin did what he did mainly for the animals, not our entertainment. He started his show as a way to better reach people and make them care about saving animals and the environment, not to make money and be famous. You would know that if you actually knew anything about the guy. The Jackass guys have it coming; Steve Irwin was a great human being. Jen-E-03 you are a retarded bitch from hell.

he knew what the fuck he was doing with every animal he dealt with.....he was capturing little crocodiles when he was like nine....a croc would have never got him...... and i really dont think he had this coming....like i said before this was a freak accident that could have happened to anyone.......using your metaphor, you could say he was a fireman who got struck by lightning while hosing down a building.....he wasnt playing with fire ever....cuz he knew how to put it out......in this situation....any skill he had around animals couldnt stop a usually harmless creature from launching a 10 inch barb into his heart |

And Steve wouldn't have blamed the stingray either. He said he never blamed the animal (in reference to Sigfried & Roy, at the time) on his Larry King interview, which I watched live and again when they replayed it a couple days ago. Anyone else catch that? Man, Larry is a f*cking ogre. He wouldn't let any of the animals get anywhere near him.

^^^ dude, i saw larry king the other day and they had some animal/bug guy on there. long story short, I tuned in and Larry King was calmley interviewing this man while 3 humongous cockcroaches were all over larry kings shirt.
the funny part was how natural it seemed for Larry King's corpse like body to be infested with insects, and how nonchalant he acted the whole time. |

I can totally picture that. Seriously, though, who would want to touch a monkey? |
