The Dalai Lama is a rip-off
look at how expensive it is to see the dalai lama.
http://www.ticketmaster.ca/artist/714781 Nurturing Compassion - $45 Educating the Heart - $53.50 to $107 Mental Health - $64.50 to 187.25 Cultivating Authentic Happiness - $21.50 to $64.00 $180 to $400 to see the man this weekend. spiritual enlightenment shouldn't be this expensive. |

i went last time when he was at the PNE. but it was a present from my dad. it was really interesting, but i wouldn't say life changing. i mean, mostly it's common sense the stuff he says. but it's the way he says it that's really beautiful sometimes.

Weird. I was just about to post the exact same thing. I thought it was beyond worth it, and had a distinct effect on me at the time. I never once thought about the money, actually. Think about the logistics of bringing a world leader to Vancouver. flights/security/accomodation for him and his staff...etc etc etc. "rip-off" is not the word I would use at all. |

lI SEE YOUR POINT. and i understand completely were your comming from.
but if you really thought about it before you posted, like the big picture instead of your initial inflated reaction, you would of seen that the cost is COMPLETELY reasonable. Considering who he is and where the money gose. |
