unfortunately I haven't had the chance to view a true HD DVD game nor movie, as such my review on BR-D may be a bit hyped.

Finally got to play with one of these last night, and wasn't overlay impressed by the games that were available (Ridge Racer/Genji). Ridge Racer was the better of the two as Genji just looked like a polished PS2 game.

however, what i was blown away by was watching x-men 3 on BR-D. The experience in itself was stellar, such a better picture and the uncompressed audio was fantastic!

we had split screen running at one point to show the difference (i brought over my x-men 3 dvd) and damn, the quality difference was night and day.

anywho, even though i believe hd-dvd will win in the end, i'm very excited to see what can be done once developers can utlize the new media.

Sony has a lot of wieght I wouldn't count BR-D out just yet.

tell em to get Resistance. I hear it's the only decent game on the system so far...

i did, but my buddy can't play FPS's.... he gets motion sickness lol.
