They should probably wrap The Office up soon. I've watched the first and second season, and they were great, but part of the genius of the British version was knowing when to tie up loose ends and leave a solid, compact finished product.

Pacing based on commercial breaks... leaving "cliffhanger" endings intended to bring viewers back next wekk... extended, meandering plotlines with no real ending... things like that are what keep me from being a fan of most small screen fare.

But speaking as a longtime fan of TV's cartoon fare, not much is going to top Family Guy's season premiere for me.

I'm looking forward to House tomorrow. It's going to be different with a whole new supporting cast though. And no more Dr. Cameron. She was hot.

I heard the guy who played Kumar from Harold and Kumar is supposed to be one of the guys who stays on permanently. We'll see though.

i thought the same... until i watched the 3rd season. IMO the best season yet, the writing just gets better & better plus some new faces in the cast make for a different dynamic from the past seasons. Ed Helms has some of the funniest moments in the entire series.

some of the changes they set up in the finale should make season 4 pretty interesting too... especially with Ryan 'The Temp'...

got the projo hooked up to the network in the front room. nice sound setup and 60' inches of viewing makes for some wicked commercial free tv!

the last series I chased was season 4 of the entourage
but I would recommend the following;

-- skins
-- rome
-- reno 911
-- extras
-- frisky dingo
