I'm totally in love with being able to take 4 friends on to xbox live to play others. I agree, game play is great. I love being able to move around the way you want to move because of the way players accelerate. And I love how it's much easier to set up and run plays in the attacking zone. It's about time there was blue-line support.

back on topic. just for anyone who thinks they got game...

this is how far betting has come in our group. we started with $5, moved up to $20. when money wasn't enough we went to leg waxing. when no hair was left, we moved to eating mystery mixes from whomever's fridge.

now. the greatest nhl tournament of all time.

The Concept:

We will create a Hockey Pool on Free Hockey pool manager - Online Pools. Your team will consist of 12 Forwards, 6 Defensemen and 2 Goalies. These pool teams will then be used to create playable teams in NHL 08. You can select the City in which your team is from, as well as your team name, logo, and color scheme.

The Terms:

This will be basically be a mini NHL season consisting of 4 teams. We will each play one another 8 times, (5 minute periods, NHL rules, Classic Camera, Superstar). These games (the regular season) will determine the seeds for the Playoffs.

The Playoffs will be full NHL Playoff games. Best of 7, full 20 minute periods (all other rules remain the same). The winner from each semi final will compete to become the Cup Champions. The two losers will compete to decide the 3rd + 4th place finishes.

The Stakes:


Players will “buy-in” for $50-$100 to purchase a trophy/belt/helmet that is kick ass. Something that is like $300+. We will then compete for this trophy/belt/helmet during the playoffs.

One added incentive, The winner of the tournament gets to decide a punishment for 2nd place. This punishment can include physical pain, humiliation, or manhood stripping. No permanent damage can be inflicted.

The kicker – 2nd gets to decide the punishment for 3rd place. 3rd place then has to do the punishment that was decided for 2nd by 1st place, as well as a new punishment for 3rd place decided by 2nd. 4th place then has to do the punishment decided by all.

skate's fun, but yeah, i don't doubt it was released buggy. Here's something that may still exist, we found this back in July: One of our favorite things to do was to find a low ledge, and skate towards it, and go into a coffin so you're lying down on the board, then stand up at the "right time" under the ledge,but sort of near the edge (hard to explain), and you could launch your body out of the level in a hilarious rag doll manner by hundreds of feet.

Did the PS3 version release at the same point as the 360 one?
