The Canuck 07/08 season thus far...

I'm feeling really good about us this year. Maybe not play off contenders... But we're still up for an entertaining season.

I really like the Pyatt, Sedin line. I think Pyatt is key due to his strength and size. Nazzy and Morrison have a lot more confidence which is important.. Though Nazzy has been a little too fancy, he's at least trying.

I really like Raymond and Weaver. Both great additions to our team. Raymond has some serious wheels and Weaver is a dependable D-man.

Burrows, Kesler and Cooke are having a good season too. Though Cooke is under producing point wise, he's still a great presence on ice.

I really hope we get Salo back this game and move him to the first string defence with Ohlund like it used to be. Bieksa and Mitchell are good, but not quite as good. that's debateable though.

raymond is definitely the future of the canucks.

this year i'm not expecting much at all, i'll be pleasantly surprised if we're half as good as last year, although i do expect a much better 2nd half.

next year will be the beginning of a new canucks era. with naslund + mo's contracts done, we'll have some room to secure someone who can continually score 35-40 goals (if not more) a season.

yeah, making a little room for key players could be needed. But I really think that we need to get more pucks on net! We spend time in the attacking zone, but we're always waiting for the prettiest plays. Get shots inbound!

naw we're getting a lot more shorts this year, it's just that 1/2 of them are getting blocked.
