dj_soo: DO IT! This is my first Zelda since A Link to the Past (SNES), and I must say that putting in on the DS console opens up an entirely new world of new ways to solve puzzles and whatnot - The boomerang and other tools are a lot of fun to use! At first I was a bit hesitant to play an RPG with just the stylus pretty much, but now I love it!
This is kind of dorky, but I smile everytime I hear the Zelda commercial on TV. :P |

zelda games can be so awesome..but you do hate them after awhile because some of the levels are sooo tedious. I've recently started playing Ocarnia of Time again on gc and I've spent too much time playing it. Anyone remember the hell that is the water temple on that game? ugh.

i am not addicted but i am loving it. it took awhile to get used to using the stylus though. i love having to blow and yell into the mic at times. so far beating the 'boss' at the end of each level is easier than other zelda games but the puzzles are a little trickier.

Zelda games are great. Some of the most engrossing games ever made... you can lose your "real" life to them, for stretches at a time. I liked some of the post SNES Zelda's quite a bit, but from my (somewhat limited) experience, nothing ever quite topped Zelda III.. Or Final Fantasy III for the same system, for that matter. |

yup, have you tried GRAW 2? There's also COD 4 coming out on Nov 4th. I was also watching a tutorial on this game Crysis on some new crytek engine. Looks wicked for strategy. Your team has to take over different buildings in a region in order to build tanks, weapons or aircraft and you have to fend the base off from being taken over.

I think the last game I really picked up with any kind of dedication was Call of Duty. Played a lot of single player and then got into multi-player online.. spent a fair amount of time as cannon fodder before my skills improved and I was half decent.
That was back in 04ish I have a feeling there are still games I'd really enjoy if I bothered to get back into it. But I worry about losing chunks of my life to them. :-/ |

The R4 is one of the best investments I ever made! I am interested in picking up the PSP just for FFT... I'm a total sucker for handheld consoles. Went to go watch "30 days of night" tonight and the kids behind us had a DS so I challenged them to a game of Mario Kart and totally schooled them. MUHAHAHAHA!
