Never played either but IIRC they generally had the same reviews as Halo - Wicked awesome gameplay but ends too quick.

SAY WHAT! Have only played the 2nd one and I haven't even finished it yet, haven't even hit up any of the expansions either, so I'm blown away that there already developing the 3rd one.

Total nerd-out with this game, you need a lot of time to get into and play it. Game play and freedom to do what you want is pretty awesome. Highly recommend F2.

I forgot DLC came out for Fable 2, so I just started playing it again. Looks like they added multiplayer on Live too. I loved this game, but it's not much of a challenge (you respawn in the same spot if you die, but lose XP and gain scars).
