Not at all. I haven't seen Punch Drunk Love yet, and I've seen a good number of good Sandler flicks.
But Big Daddy did not need to get made. And frankly, I think we can do without another one of those lethargic-no-goods-making-it-and-hilarity-ensuing movies, wouldn't you say?
The same can be said of Carrey. It was a neat schtick but it got stale _real_ fast.

I was watching Jim Carrey do his schtick a good 3 or 4 years before Ace Ventura was made. I was pretty happy with him in Man On The Moon because he was doing something different. Frankly, if I wanted to see the same old same old, I'd just watch Ace Ventura again, or catch some of the old In Living Colour reruns.
