ok, it's a date. but it won't really be like the time we saw the punisher because that was with Marty and that just changes everything. I guess this will be more romantic.

USED TO BE??? i have the Silmarillion in storage, but after seeing how hard it was to read the appendix in LOTR i moved that one down the list a little. :P i still intend to read it though. audio book almost sounds interesting, i like those, listend to a few... but this might be one of those books when you want to get the WHOLE story.

i dont think i remember the compairisions to Christianity. interesting point there.

i used to read his books all the Time.

now i only read lord of the rings once a year and the silmarllion every couple of years. if you liked lord of the rings then the silmarils are something you need to know about. if civilisation were to collapse and that book survived people would think of it like we do the bible.

we had to read the first one in grade five
"the lion, the witch, and the wardrobe"

then they made us watch a really bad movie (non animated)

i'd totally wear the Aslan costume from that old movie to the new one

t.
it's a pretty and fantastical way of introducing christian ideals into the home and has received much critisism from modern readers about it.There was a course at SFU that had it in the content a few years ago...... I still like the stories though, the message behind it is really yours to inturpret

I saw this last night! OMG was it sooo freaking good! Exactly what I was hoping/expecting. I read the books again last week in preperation to watching the movie, and I must say I couldn't find anything that I disagreed with or didn't like. Awesome! 10/10!
