my choice would be 1984 and Akira

If they did a remake of Akira that would be pretty sweet, a non anime version ..with a steven spielberg budget.

only way i'd want a remake of akira is if they did the other 75% of the story that was in the comic. maybe a 2 or 3 movie epic.

otherwise, don't fuck with it.
