Lord of War 10/10

illegal trafficing, cocaine use, ruthless murder, ridiculously hot girls.. if it wasn't for a great story, subtle humour, and top notch acting this would have been like every other action movie that's come out in the past few years. Nicholas Cage and Jared Leto were excellent in this, however. Leto, once again, never lets you down playing a drug addict. And Nicholas Cage can sell any role he plays. Definately recommend it.

It's good, but it's missing some very key parts/moments I think. And also, wtf Akasha was egyptian not black! That alone makes the movie less appealing (although Alliyah was very hot in her outfit). Love the music though.

that movie has some of the best sound design/music I've heard.

the story kinda doesn't make sense cause Alliyah died before the shooting was done.

it's a great documentary about the funk brothers. one of the best I've seen,

But while you're at the video store, make sure to pick up "The Commitments".
you'll love that one (if you haven't seen it yet)

I am having mixed feelings about it, most of the time I was feeling rather confused about what the time period was, how many months had gone by, years for that matter... good cinematography, but other than that, it was just boring most of the time. Good acting... but lacked flavour. What did you see in it that was so awesome?
