What's it all about?

DJ competition designed to give exposure to up and coming DJs.

Electro Shock will consist of series/rounds of mini events leading to a Grand Finale in which a winner will be declared. The overall winner will also get to select his time slot at International Affair: After Party. The winner and runner-ups of each event are selected and booked to spin at our upcoming feature events.

With such a competitive market these days and everyone wanting exposure with the hopes of reaching the top, we offer the lesser known DJ a chance to boost their confidence and raise their profile to the industry.



Who does it appeal to?

Any clubber, promotion company, music lover, DJ fan or friends will get the opportunity to watch home grown talent doing what they love best in a safe, friendly and unforgettable environment.
As DJ’s they are given a chance to mix live and in front of a crowd surrounded by people from around the industry and media. They will benefit from the networking experience and media attention this event will offer. With the hopes of growing nationally, this can become a very well known event across Canada and hopefully beyond. With the proper mix of talent and marketing, the right people will become aware of this event as a result of the exposure we offer.

What’s the music policy?

Electronic music (must incorporate at least 3 genres)

The competition is open to single DJs and DJ groups
