I hear that. it was classic canucks - go into the 3rd with a lead, and get complacent. Rest on their laurels and play (sloppy) defensive hockey, instead of pressing the advantage. ALWAYS comes back to bite them. Cinist - because Colorado lost, as long as we dont lose on sunday (tie, or overtime loss is fine) we clinch the division. |

we've got a young team with very little playoff experience. the way their playing shows how nervous they are... if you ask me they're gripping their sticks too tight! loosen up boys!!
my only quam is with cloutier!?! what the hell? inconsistent much? were gonna win tonight! Im gonna go watch the game at shark club cause its just nutty in there! and I also work in the same building. GO CANUCKS GO!!! |

you cant blame their play on inexperience. EVERY ELEMENT of the game was off, and the only guy out there performing was the least experienced memeber of the team (you really DO have to love that Reid). Where was Linden and his vaunted point-a-playoff-game vetran status? Bottom line is they were just stinky. Unprepared. As for cloutier, I dont blame him - the first few goals were the defence's fault not his. The ones that came after were inevitable ... As if he was going to catch fire and recover after those early goals, and then seeing the rest of the team just give up on him. I wouldnt, however, be surprised to see Auld start tonight just to shake things up. All that asside, you gotta just still love the boys, and hope we can pull it together tonight... TOWEL POWER! |
