.Promoter will become famous soon enough
So ive been reading through thought id say a few more things...

I thought the volume was definatly a little quieter then before. It was still too loud, but it wasnt as bad as either NYE or IMF (I dont remeber for sure which one it was, but i remeber it being so loud that i simply would not go to the front for fear of ear damage)

Vibe wise, i totally get what FireWire was saying. There wasnt too much of a vibe going on in the traditional sense, it was all party, and thats what you felt, people were there to party. I think in part it might have had something to do with timing, and music played. All the little kids were just getting out of school, or graduating highschool, summer had just begun, and the music being played was pure energy.

But in defence, i found it was like that only on a Party-Wide level. With people i knew, or close friends we definatly had a vibe going. Me and my close friends had a good moment where we all linked arms and just appreciated the music coming at us in Awe. But when you got on the floor, there was just too many crack head lil'uns that were running around on bad ecstasy that just seemed to take away the musical aspect ect.

Of course im not that old, only 18 and still rather fresh out of highschool, and the oldschool rave scene was something i missed. But i did have a couple of good conversations with people, they were all 20+ and they definatly were included in the vibe with people i knew, it was about more then just the drugs for us and them.

yeah, when there is no vibe... you gotta make your own with your friends
I still had a wicked time with all mine, and all the cool ppl I ended up meeting that night ^^
even tho I didnt dance half as much as I usually do, I partied twice as hard as I usually do haha and my friend got violated by one of them 12 year olds in their underwear :P
lol good times
could the party have been better? well of course, but it was fun and thats what matters

Are there not enough nights that do broken beats? almost every club event now is breaks or drum&bass. Why cant we have our trance parties?

Thanks to Solid for not making me deaf this time around. Sound quality was much clearer than IMF and not blowing out my eardrums. Visuals were AWESOME! I loved the lights on the white diamond canvas', nice touch guys.

Unfortunately, the music this time around didn't do it for me. At least not the way the time slots were done. Downey's set didn't deliver much energy and I would've preferred to listen to it at the end of the show instead of the beginning where I would've LOVED to hear Gaz West's just bumpin' collection of classics remixed in speedy style - definatley would've started the show off with tons of energy. Yoji was pretty cool to watch, but I would've preferred some more uplifting trance throughout the night instead of happy-crazy-jumping-up-and-down-stuff.

I was really looking forward to chilling in the breaks room this time, but the setup (on the right side) wasn't as welcoming as the usual (middle), and it seemed way too dark in there this time. DJ Dan was wicked though!

Some cool moments at the party..too bad stage 3 lacks walls that could show a dancefloor and not seem like a giant hallway, cuz I houz rocked it huge for 2hrs..huge classic french house set. Catch me next time, and bring your girlfriend. : )

yes but from a promoters point of view, wouldnt it look more like this?;

sales are in diversity. if you appeal to more groups and genres, you wil theoretically please mroe people and make mroe sales.
i am one of the few break heads that actually likes the noise we call hardstyle, so i could enjoy the party without some broken beats, but it they were to take one of the stages out of 4 and drop in some really good local breaks and dnb djs (besides the ones that were allready playing, you know who u r, big up on ya hehe), then they would immediately appeal to a whole other crowd of people.
i saw alot of people from the breaks scene at the party, but for the most part it was a mediocre night for them. but simply planning out the breaks room better would have enthralled this whole seperate scene.

and yes maybe it was a sold out show like PC parties usually are, but its just good business to appeal to diversity.
