I just didn't feel the vibe this year, but I think its just me considering I've been focusing more on dubstep which is a whole different scene of its own.... I ended up leaving at 3 am as a result because really nothing interested me except for the Mnemonic stage where there was a dj that played some dubstep and then another that played some early early techstep
There's no doubt that almost each and every stage had a huge setup. Seemed like it was to much big sound... so little space... The promoters certainly did deliver on a production scale... Couldn't complain about the vip lineup at all... Anyone see those 2 guys scrap over close to the entrance? I saw security... Avana, Saleem and some others just swarm these guys to break it up. Dunno what Avana was saying to the one guy but she was certainly making her case clear that she wasn't gonna tolerate his actions. Funny seeing some of the newbies standing in line with cases of water or in 1 situation the guy had 2 flats of energy drinks... Can we say "bye bye"?... Anyways... Would like to know who the dj was at the boomch stage at 12:30 who was playing breaks... Was a killer set and would like to know some of the tracklists. Again our friendly neighbors from seattle and there Mnemonic stage delivered.. The spectrum stage would of been alright if they had some more lights... Aside to that Scotty Oh's stage had some killer visuals. Again I personally didn't feel the vibe at all (but that means nothing). To be honest this will probably be my last rave since I have no interests in raves anymore. Thats it for now... Hope everyone gets/got home safe... Cheers..

Anyway, I gotta agree with b0ld on the fact that the setups were massive! The amount of speakers that some of the stages had was intense. The positioning of the stages was awkward this year... and some stages couldn't pump enough juice to compete with the neighboring stages. As for the party itself - I didn't feel any vibe either. That's not to say that it's anyones' fault - the party DID do what it promised... which was to deliver a large scale venue for people to party and enjoy underground electronic music; but for some reason I just didn't feel that actual party vibe amongst the crowd this year. Although, that's just me - you may have been different. All in all - it was still fun! Shoutouts: - Altered States crew - Greg C. (for having me play on his stage - it was a pleasure!) - My friends (Isaac, Joe, Dmitri, Naomi, Garrett, Tim, Richard, Andrea, Bryan, Scott, Jessica, Elise, Amanda, and all the rest) - Noof Cracker (thanks for that tip bro!) - and anyone else I saw or who saw me!!! -t

one more notch in my apex belt.
i came, got drunk in the line, finally got in and got to dance. just seemed like another party. not to say the set up wasnt awseome, there were some sick sets aswell, but it seemed like something was missing?? probably just me, ahwell. two roadblocks in one night was fun though :) good thing i was sober by that time lol

I had so much fun. Seriously the best Apex ive been to so far.
Akeel, Mateo and Sir Kutz. You rocked shit. Hirshee and Christian also got me dancing. I didnt show up till after 2 am and my cell phone didnt get reception up there, so I apologize in advanced for anyone I didnt call or text like I had promised. Mr Rich, I caught a slight bit of your set before I passed out and what I heard, you rocked it. Thanks to Tim for driving up there so late. Loved all the guys I went up with <3! Hope to see most of you tonight :) ROUND THREE: LLW!

I had mixed emotions.
Pros: -I saw tons of people I haven't seen in ages. It was an old school reunion. -Some really kickass breakbeats. -Hundreds of skanky sluts, wearing very short skirts or just their undies. -Pretty easy going security. Cons: -Most of the stages were way too close together, making them all bleed together. -Too much freakin trance. -Too many big sweaty drunk roid-monkeys. -Not quite enough skanky sluts, wearing very short skirts or just their undies. All in all, it was a pretty freakin good party!!

Apex was better than I thought it would be this yr!! Had such an awesome time, didnt wanna leave! Saw so many ppl I havent seen in a couple years! Harsh reunion!!!!!:amuse:

WICKED!!! the party was good and bad, i had fun. the security was such a joke at the gate, i brought in 2 40 pounders and some mickeys in my tent , the music was dope the party was dope , all in all it was a great time, well at least untill 130 when i passed out .... shit im still a lil tipsy right now haha

i am a tired girl.
and burnt. :( thanks to all those that helped out to make this year one of the best. to the idiot that decided to off road on the girl, karma is a bitch, and if you show your face to any of my events again, my foot is going to show your ass the door. i hope the cops throw away the key. fucker. <---- chrissy thinks the fucker part was overkill.

Next year VIP ticket.. lol.
Got there a little after 9pm, and was in line until 12:30am. Sucked, but I thought they were doing extreme searches, but apparently not lol. The lady that checked me, I just put my stuff on the table, and she looked at me.. then said go. lol. Good party though, was fun. And now to heal.. ahah.
