If I had fakes I'd at least get out of the habit and stop stop biting.

Im a former biter, and got fakes for the same reason. What's worse is that sometimes you pick or bite anyways and then crack a nail. SO disappointing. That said, I was really worried about getting them taken off. It's actualy been an exercise in will power, and I feel proud when my nails are pretty AND my own. Good luck! Stay on top of those cuticles with a cuticle oil pen. Sephora's are best (thanks Avana), or sally hansen even makes them. Just take a little time every night to rub it in. Use hand cream regularly too. Just try and baby your hands for a while and think, if I leave them alone long enough, they're be ready enough for a manicure, and treat yourself! Getting fake nails and then taking them off at whatever point will put you at square one again... with damaged nails.
