Coloured Jeans.....catching on?

I remember very vividly being in grade 8 and having to have a pair of red Guess jeans - at 14 I saved up the moolah (all 90$) and was soon sporting red jeans - the boys started in on the Cross Colours and it wasn't long before it was all a distant memory

2007 was supposed to be the year the coloured denim came back and it seems like it's starting to happen...how do you feel about it?

They were hot in Australia when i was there in 2005. I bought a pair *exactly* the colour of the ones in the middle of your picture just before I came back to Canada. I wore them a couple times in Japan but I put them on after coming home and had a total "WHAT was I thinking?!" moment.

Seemed like a good idea in theory but somehow hard to pull off, even for someone with an occasional weirdo fashion sense like me.

Ya the 80s and then the early 90s.....like my post said - I was in grade 8 and now I am 28 so it's been 14 years
I don't think I could do it again......I am not sure I did well back then ...though I sure did try

I also hears/saw terrible rumour about the bodysuit coming "back"
I did that in grade 8 too......I SURE HOPE NOT!!

we sell red and faded purple skinnies at OTW...they're selling like HOT CAKES
personally, I barely even wear skinny jeans so coloured ones are out of the question. I like them on tall, skinny girls - one of my staff wore hot pink skinnies and they looked AMAZING on her because she is so tall and thin!

when i moved here in 1997 coloured jeans / skirts was the shit in Europe... i honestly had so many crazy jean outfits, like (lol) yellow, orange, bright green. o man the brighter, the better! it was so trendy..

i gave it all away to big brothers though, oh man!!! lolol

its all about the 20 year rule in fashion. whatever was cool 20 years ago, will always be fad. in the 90s we were duplicating shit from the 70s.
my teacher in grade 5 told me that the 20 year rule has been happening in fashion since the dawn of fashion limelight.
