//COMING SOON//
With the current era of war and occupation, and growing attacks on students, women, immigrants, refugees and indigenous peoples, it becomes ever more vital for students and young people to empower themselves, unify and seek avenues for change and sharing their voice and concerns. Historically students and young people have played a significant role in the struggle for humanitarian rights, working conditions, and the general well being within communities. The importance of young people and students being active and vocal continues today.
The last five years have been an amazing and growing success. With events at almost every major college and university in the lower mainland, there is an amazing array of opportunities to get involved, learn, and meet people.
The week includes forums/workshops, film screenings + post film discussions, guest speakers, several cultural nights featuring some amazing local hiphop/spoken word as well as tables with an immense amount of information, newspapers, articles, petitions, and schwag!
