no one folds pocket A's preflop. sure they're are alot of guys in the graveyard who did the fool's move and made a big raise before the flop with pocket A's, but never fold them until you see the flop. pocket A's tend to have a 54% chance to win before the flop. |

I think if you ever layed down pocket AA preflop, You would be just insane. The best way to play pocket rockets depends on your position, blinds, how the table is playing, how many players left, your chipstack and no-limit/limit. You have to feel the table. Ideally you're big blind, and you have control of the betting, but pretty much betting a very large amount is the key in no-limit which is all I play. Next turn go all in without looking at any of the cards, immediately shout all in and stand up. 9/10 times you'll win. I ll play poker with you anytime ramitn! =D |

you made the right call (assuming you went all in after the flop). that's just the way the game is sometimes. sometimes ya win, sometimes ya lose. |

Considering i 6 to 8 table anywhere from $200 to $600 buy in, shorthanded NLHE online, im not sure if i would waste my time on something like that. But if your serious, if im playing live I am comfortable playing up to 10/20NL 2k buy in, I can get us a table at the riverrock and you can feel free to reload /top off as much as you want. I didnt mean to come off as a asshole in my previous post, I just thought it was funny how ppl had no idea what they were talking about. |

sorry dude, but no one here is that big of a high roller. but if you would grace us with your presence by playing for $100 buy in's, then it would make my day, in fact, it would make my year to play with a poker player as prestigious as yourself. what do you say? i'll pm you when i am in town, if it is worth you time. |

i don't play online.
i want to see my opponent's faces when i play. i just want to have a friendly game of poker. 6 to 10 players. $100 buy ins. forget the egos, forget the "im too good to play for $100" bullshit. just grab a case of beer, a set of 500 chips and play some god damn texas hold em'! I play mostly on full tilt and stars, and I apologize I should never have even posted in this topic was a bad idea.
Im not even that serious about poker anymore. I used to play for a living off and on for the last year but have a really good job now so dont play as much as I used to. I never said I was that good or anything but good enough to beat 200NL over about +250k hands. Anyways nevermind, if anyone ever wants to play for some fun maybe do a HU sng on stars or whatever pm me ur tilt/stars screen. Last edited by Technique; Nov 19, 06 at 01:30 PM. Reason: typo |
