I'm not interested in having bad karma-ed posts automagically collapsed for me. Is there anyway you could add an option to our account pages to say something like "check here to hide unpopular posts"?

i think the feature itself is pretty sweet. finding out why people think someone else is a total douche-bag is only a click away!

we've already got the ignore list.

i don't wish to have other people moderate posts out of immediate sight. if someone gets annoying enough, they go on the ignore list.

besides, how hard is it to implement the suggestion i asked for?

-- checkbox added to the user options
-- binary field added to the user table in the database
-- load a "collapse low karma-ed posts" field into the user session (i think this is a php bulletin board so it would be something as simple as loading that data field into $_SESSION['collapse'] = TRUE/FALSE;
-- change the if statement that collapses a post from

if ($post_karma <= -5) { collapse_post() }

to

if ($_SESSION['collapse'] && $post_karma <= -5) { collapse_post() }



half an hour work if you had to think about it.

If that's the case then I'm re-requesting the ability to hide forum groups I don't read. :p
