Employers have the CHOICE to give Monday as the stat and require you to work on Tuesday.
So, ask your employer! If you work on the 1st and don't get the 30th off and you've worked 15 of the past 30 days, you're entitled to stat pay (time and a half minimum, though some companies pay more).

it depeneds on the company you work for. we get Tuesday off
