MTV is a digital channel, but it's free. your standard tv will not work, you have to purchase a digital box.

or you can get the pvr 3080, non HD box. it's like 3 bills but you have to go to future shop for it. Motorola has discontinued them. you only get a 1 year warranty with us, the HD PVR you get 3

you get mtv with basic cable, no digital needed
