We had one in our office. I could have taken it home. I passed. Terrible user interface and WinMob, eww. At the end NOBODY in the office wanted a Touch for free...so we sent it back to HTC.
Funny how that works, eh? |

i had an iphone for a long time in the US, and it was great. but the wireless carriers here in canada just don't offer the support that an iphone really needs to shine. i find that the HTC phones are far better here, the wifi is amazing compared to the old 8g iphone. i want the diamond soooooooo bad. or the pro. but my fave is the diamond. |

if you're just talking about the simple HTC touch that was the only one officialy released in north america (to my knowledge) then i can see how some peeps would pass it up. they don't realize how many firmware downloads are available that make these phones so incredible. the HTC diamond (the one you quoted) is not released here that i know of, and it's so much nicer too. i'd be surprised if it was a diamond that was sitting in your office. |

actually, the HTC touch can't do half the things a berry can do :(
it's a cool phone, but it was designed and marketed for people who don't need their phone to survive (aka non business users) I demoed one for about a week. what a pos. |

From my experience there are only two manufacturers to consider when contemplating getting a smart phone. BB and Apple. The choice is a little easier in Canada because of the shitty iPhone plans Rogers has.
I've been really liking my iPhone except for battery lifetime. I've got it setup on the exchange server at work and the app store has been awesome for getting games and shit to do on my flights back home. I think the only benefit from having an MSN client is portability, your list follows you everywhere you go whether it be a mobile device or PC. Is it possible to log into the bb messenger service on a PC? |
